Unintended pregnancies

An unwanted pregnancy can be a complex and confusing situation. We are here to help you.

In our gynecological practice, we offer objective and empathetic advice and support for women who come to us with an ambivalent or negative pregnancy wish.

Our team understands the emotional challenges that can accompany an ambivalent or negative pregnancy wish. We take the time to listen to your individual feelings and concerns in order to offer you supportive and empathetic guidance during this important phase of your life.

We provide you with an open and confidential exchange to help you make a decision together. Our aim is to provide you with the necessary information and support so that you can make an informed decision that is right for you.

If desired, we can arrange further external offers for you.

We inform you about various options such as abortion, adoption and support measures for parents-to-be. We respect your autonomy and support you in implementing your decision.

In Switzerland, the time limit solution (Art. 119 + 120 of the Swiss Criminal Code) regulates abortions. Within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, women have the opportunity to decide for themselves whether they wish to continue or terminate the pregnancy. Abortion after the 12th week of pregnancy is only possible if there is a medically justified indication.

There are two treatment options for a termination of pregnancy: a medical method (up to the 9th week of pregnancy) or a surgical procedure. After a gynecological examination with ultrasound at your first appointment, you will receive detailed information on the procedure. The medication abortion usually starts the next day, followed by a follow-up two weeks later.
