About me

My name is Denise Beck, and I am pleased to give you an insight into my professional career and the philosophy of our practice.

During my training as an assistant and senior physician in gynaecology and obstetrics, which I completed in both large central hospitals and small, family-run clinics, I was able to gain a broad range of medical knowledge and valuable experience in all areas of gynaecology and obtained my specialist title and specialization in surgical gynaecology and obstetrics in 2011.

In 2013, I began to specialize in senology, an area that is particularly close to my heart. Over the next seven years, I worked at the Breast Center at Aarau Cantonal Hospital (KSA) as a breast surgeon and senologist. This time not only provided me with in-depth knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases, but also gave me the opportunity to work closely with the interdisciplinary team, which was a great enrichment from a medical point of view and on a human level. For the last four years, I have been in charge of the interdisciplinary breast center at Wetzikon Hospital. This role has shown me how important holistic and individual care is for our patients. 

My aim is to offer you comprehensive and sensitive care in our practice, be it in gynecological screening, in the consultation and treatment of gynecological diseases or the treatment of breast diseases. We attach great importance to a trusting atmosphere in which you feel comfortable and in good hands.

Career

Denise Beck is an experienced specialist in gynecology and obstetrics with a special focus on operative gynecology and senology. Her professional career began with her medical studies at Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg, which she successfully completed in 2001. She then gained valuable experience as a junior doctor in various hospitals, including the Walenstadt Cantonal Hospital, the Männedorf District Hospital and the GZO Hospital in Wetzikon.

After obtaining her specialist title in 2011, she specialized further in surgical gynaecology and obstetrics. In 2013, she turned her attention increasingly to senology, a specialty that is particularly close to her heart. During her seven years at the Breast Center at Aarau Cantonal Hospital, she deepened her knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases and worked closely with an interdisciplinary team.

In 2020, she took over the management of the interdisciplinary breast center at Wetzikon Hospital, where she further internalized the importance of holistic and individual care for patients. In addition to her clinical work, she was involved in promoting senology in Switzerland as President of the Senosuisse association (2021-2024).

Today, Denise Beck runs the Seeblick practice together with Dr. Denis Faoro, where she cares for patients with specialist knowledge, empathy and a holistic approach. Their aim is to provide women with the best possible medical support at all stages of their lives - be it in gynecological screening, surgical procedures or the treatment of breast diseases.
